Rates quoted are based on the accommodation facilities and all inclusions offered in the Cottages section of this website. Longer stays and group bookings available on application. All children must be accompanied by at least 2 adults and, with due respect to other guests, must be under supervision at all times. All prices shown are in $AU Australian dollars and include Goods & Services Tax.

Mid-week 3 night special

Valid Sunday to Thursday inclusive, during off-peak periods.
Rate for 2 guests $480.00. Save $105.00
Extra Adult $150.00.
Extra Child $60.00 for 3 nights.

Stay 7 nights Pay for 6 nights

Discount on stays of 7 days or over.

Booking Restrictions:

Easter: 3 days minimum
Long Weekends: 2 days minimum
Christmas/New Year: 4 days minimum
Weekends: 2 nights preferred, will accept 1 night if available. Subject to $20.00 surcharge per couple. Bookings accepted 2 days prior.

Cancellations and Refunds Policy

Our policy in relation to cancellations and refunds is as follows:

Where we receive your cancellation more than 30 days prior to the date of your first day booked, we will refund 100% of moneys paid to us, including deposit.

Where we receive your cancellation between 30 and 15 days prior to the first day booked, we may retain any deposit paid, but will refund any other moneys paid by you in advance. However, we will charge a $50.00 (incl. GST) cancellation fee.

Where we receive your cancellation 14 days or less prior to the first day booked, we may retain all moneys due by you, plus the cancellation fee described above.
We may, at our discretion refund all or part of the moneys paid, less the cancellation fee of $50.00, should we be able to re-let some or all of the dates originally booked and cancelled by you

Checking in and out:

The Cottages are available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Checking out time on the day of departure is no later than 10.30am. For any variation on these times, please check with us and we will oblige if we can.


We are able to accommodate pets subject to conditions. Where we agree to allow your pet to remain in the cottage, please ensure the following is strictly adhered to;

Pets not permitted on beds or in bedrooms. Pets not permitted on carpets or furniture. Pets are not permitted to remain in the cottage if you are absent. A fenced pet area with a kennel is supplied at the rear of Geranium Cottage to keep your pet secure. Pets must be kept under owners control at all times, with no excessive barking. Owners are expected to clean up after their pets.

Pets may be kept in the enclosure provided OR secured on the cottage verandah.

Please discuss any concerns you may have before making your reservation.

Breakages and Damage:

Please report breakages and spills to us so we can do the necessary repairs or replacements, thereby keeping the Cottages in their high standards of maintenance. We advise that guests may be liable for repairs or replacement of damage, not caused by fair wear and tear..

Restrictions on Bed Use:

If you have reserved as a twin share and you choose to use other rooms and beds, you will be charged $20 per bed to cover the cost of additional linen and cleaning.

Cleaning and Servicing:

We pride ourselves on an exceptional level of cleanliness. Your cottage will have been thoroughly cleaned and serviced by one of our team and fresh food, flowers and other supplies provided. As your cottage is self-contained, we ask that you wash your own dishes and utensils after use. For longer-term guests we offer a linen change and cleaning service every 7 days as part of the tariff or as necessary.

Towels and tea towels are changed bins emptied and toiletries replaced where necessary, every 3 days.

Lost Property:

Where possible, we keep found articles for one month and we are happy to return these to you on request. Please send us a self addressed stamped container.

Telephones and e-mail:

Most guests prefer to bring and use their own mobile telephones. However, we can make our portable telephone available for occasional use. There is a public telephone next to the Post Office in Lyndoch, 800 metres from the Cottages. The Lyndoch public library has free internet facilities available during normal business hours.

Getting Around In the Valley:

There is a limited public transport service between the Barossa Valley townships of Lyndoch, Tanunda, Nuriootpa and Angaston. However the Barossa Bus Service provides a service between these towns and the Gawler railway stations from where there are frequent trains to and from Adelaide. We have a bus stop located immediately outside our property.

Security of Information:

You may not feel comfortable about giving us confidential information (for example your credit card details) over the Internet. In that case, you can still e-mail us with all the other enquiry or reservation information, but then separately phone or fax us with the confidential details. In that situation please tell us in the Comments section of the form how and when you will contact us with that information.

Barossa Country Cottages respects the privacy and confidentiality of its guests. This statement outlines the information we need to provide our services to guests and how we will use it.
As is the case with most holiday accommodation businesses, we need certain information to assist our guests to facilitate enquiries, making or cancelling reservations, paying accounts, and for other purposes associated with their stay at the Cottages.
The required information is contained in the Enquiries Form.
We will not use any information supplied to us by a guest for any purpose other than to facilitate their business with the Cottages.
By giving us your credit card details, you authorise us to withdraw such funds from your account as are required to settle your bill.
We will not use any information supplied to us about your credit card or financial account details for purposes other than to settle your bill or make other payments as agreed.
We will not disclose the information given to us by our guests to any other party, unless required by law.
